Cam Snaith

Cam is a leader who’s obsessed with empowering individuals to make their own path in the world. He was the founder and founding chairman of Giving Opportunities To Others, a youth-focused non-profit in the arts. He has worked as a marketing professional at PepsiCo and the National Basketball Association and is currently a Research Affiliate with the MIT Media Lab’s Social Computing group. Cam was born in Hamilton, Bermuda, and received his MS in Strategic Communication from Columbia University and an AB in English from Princeton University.

Mariano Monkowski

Mariano joined True Advance early in 2021 and serves as the company's Director of Finance. He has been focusing on professionalizing and optimizing the company's operational management in financial and accounting terms and planning and designing True Advance's future business strategies. Mariano holds an MBA, a degree in economics, and is a certified private pilot. His professional career was centered in banks and large consulting, auditing, and tax firms. Before joining True Advance, he led the Transfer Pricing practice at BDO, managing a team of professionals for more than ten years; he expanded the practice internationally, both in LatAm and Europe, traveling temporarily to different countries to manage and supervise the start-up aspects of the business.

Jay Liddell

Jay’s prior career tour-of-duty includes work as a mechanical engineer and project manager in the alternative-energy space, structuring, and management roles in fixed-income derivatives, and as a founding member and Chairman of Giving Opportunities To Others, a youth-focused arts non-profit. To inspire his work at True Advance, Jay is a Research Affiliate in the Social Computing group at the MIT Media Lab, races bicycles, and plays with LEGO™. Born and raised in Pickering, Ontario, Jay received his B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University.

Simon Carcagno

Simon is a recovering athlete, and rowing coach applying the skills learned coaching elite athletes to work with corporate leaders in tech, finance, and consumer products. Simon is passionate about developing talent and using systems thinking to complex problems here at True Advance. He is a world champion, a two-time Olympic team member, and a silver medalist at the Pan-Am games. He's built big buildings, coached great athletes, run large events, and worked in venture-backed startups. Simon is always looking to grow, solve interesting problems, and do some good. Simon has an AB in Public Policy from Princeton University and a Master's in Sports Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill. He lives in Hillsborough, NC, with his wife, Megan Cooke Carcagno, and their three sons and two dogs.
